SmartDraftr was founded by two experienced educators and technology enthusiasts who recognised the immense challenges faced by overworked teachers around the world. Our flagship drafting and feedback software, SMARTDRAFTR, is designed to save time for teachers by automating feedback for assessments and classwork while fostering metacognition in students by showing them how to improve. We are deeply concerned that many AI Tools on the market reduce learning rather than enhance it by doing the work for students, and, as educators, we know these tools will never be embedded in the classroom. By providing task-specific feedback, we show students how to improve their work without doing the work for them allowing the teacher to use the feedback provided to enhance the overall learning in the classroom.
